MinistrEmail April 2017 -Grace For Your Call

Grace For Your Call

Ephesians 4:4-7  There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;  5  one Lord, one faith, one baptism;  6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7  But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

Dear friends and partners,

The Book of Ephesians is one of the most specific books for our time right now as a Church. Of course the whole Bible is just as relevant in every way, and applicable with all of the principles and promises, however, Ephesians is so specific in regards to the church age now, that we must give it special attention in these days.

I have been preaching through Ephesians chapter 4 at Living House Family Church, and I would like to share with you some powerful truth about the grace that is available to you by faith for your calling and walk in God.

Let’s begin reading together;

MinistrEmail FEBRUARY 2017 -Walking Worthy of Your Calling

Walking Worthy of Your Calling

“There is a pre-destined path written in the books of heaven for us, however, we have to agree to walk out this path on the Earth. When we begin to understand our high calling, we must receive the grace to walk worthy of that calling, in conduct, in application, and in consecration to it.”

Dear friends and partners,

Every one of us is called with a high calling form God, and every one of us has grace provided to walk out this calling. Read with me these three scriptures and as you do pay special attention to the phrase “walk worthy”;

Ephesians 4:1 (NKJV)  I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

MinistrEmail January 2017 -Walking On Your Destiny

Walking on Your Destiny

As we begin this new year, I have been hearing the Lord clearly exhort me and I believe those who receive this ministry to run the race that is clearly set before us. We MUST NOT be distracted, held back, nor sidelined. In this MinistrEmail, I believe the Lord would encourage you that He is personally committed to bring to pass the things that He has planned for you. Study with me. Take time over this. And with all your faith, speak over this year the substance of what the Lord has purposed!

Let’s begin together in the Psalms;

Psalms 138:8 (NKJV)  The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

Psalms 138:8 (NLT)  The LORD will work out His plans for my life—for Your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for You made me.

I want to encourage you today in some eternal truth. Truth that never fades, and truth that never fails, because it is truth born of the One Who is Love. That truth is that there is a perfect plan for you. A plan that the Lord Himself is committed to perfect.

Every one of us has a perfect plan that we have the choice to walk in.

In Jeremiah 29:11, a verse known very well by many Christians, we see a very comforting Word. In context The Lord was encouraging Israel who had been led away captive, and it would be 70 years where they would be in that state. However, the Lord wanted them to know that it would not stay that way, that His plan would be outworked in their lives.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Jeremiah 29:11 (AMPC)  For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

There is a final outcome, and there is a life-path for each one of us.

Psalm 25:4-5 (TPT) Lord, direct me throughout my journey,

So I can experience your plans for my life.

Reveal the life-paths that are pleasing to you.

5 Escort me along the way, take me by the hand and teach me,

For you are the God of my increasing salvation;

I have wrapped my heart into yours!

For the Christian, we know that Jesus is the Way!

Hebrews 12:2 (NKJV)  looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

It is Jesus Who has authored and Who is committed to bring to perfection, to completion, this perfect plan for you. It is Jesus, Who outworked a plan so perfect Himself, that it would restore perfection to every one who would receive Him.

Hebrews 5:9 (NKJV)  And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,

What are Jesus credentials for being the Author of eternal salvation to everyone who would receive Him? He was, and is the very Word that created everything to begin with!

Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)  In the beginning God (את) created the heavens and the earth.

Now inserted into this verse is a very powerful truth. It is a The Truth, The Way and The Life to be exact. In the Hebrew reading of this verse there is a word that is not translated.

את אלהים  ברא בראשׁית  Genesis 1:1

הארץ׃  ואת השׁמים

The word I have put in bold and underlined is not translated into English because this word doesn’t have an English meaning. The closest explanation for the word is that it points to the definite object!

The Book of Ephesians and Colossians say that the Gospel is a mystery hidden, not from us, but for us.

Colossians 1:26 (NKJV)  the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.

So what is the mystery? To answer this we go to the Gospel of John.

John 1:1-5 (NKJV)  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  2  He was in the beginning with God.  3  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  4  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  5  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

Now consider for a minute that the Apostle John grew up learning the Hebrew scriptures, in Hebrew. He knew them very well. The first word of the books of the Torah is the name of the book. Doesn’t it seem very presumptuous then that John would begin his Gospel account with the same word? Unless he did that on purpose because he was beginning the account with a commentary and explanation of a mystery revealed. John explains that “in the beginning was the Word” What Word? He goes on, “and the Word was with God…” Ahhh the Word that is with God.

Looking at our Hebrew text we see that this word in Hebrew is את ‘Aleph Tav’. Then John continues with a revelation of eternal proportions “and the Word was God”. Not only that, he continues with the commentary just to make sure we understand the passage being studied here.

“…He was in the beginning with God.  3  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  4  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.  5  And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

Now, what is this revelation that John has concerning the Aleph and Tav being the Word and being God? He clarifies in verse 14;

John 1:14 (NKJV)  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Does this seem far fetched to you? Well how about if Jesus personally confirms it? John is the writer of the book of Revelation under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. In the Book of Revelation, Jesus personally confirms something to John, not just once, but four times!

Rev 1:8  “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Rev 1:11  saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”

Rev 21:6  And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

Rev 22:13  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Jesus was not speaking Greek to John, that is the language that we have it in, as the Lord used Greek to communicate the Gospel as the primary language of that region in the first century, that also flowed similar to Hebrew. The letters Aleph and Tav are the first and the last letter in the Hebrew Aleph Bet, in the same way that Alpha and Omega are in the Greek.

Jesus is the very first and the very last, meaning He encompasses every Word! Jesus is the direct Object of the Universe! Not only does He bookend the entire body of letters that exist but He is in the midst of them. The very middle letter of the ‘aleph bet’ is the Hebrew letter ‘mem’ (מ) when placed in the middle of aleph and tav it spells “emet”, for which the English translation is the word TRUTH! Now lets consider all this in reading from Colossians;

Colossians 1:12-18 (NKJV)  giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.  13  He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,  14  in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.  15  He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.  16  For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.  17  And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.  18  And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

So Jesus Himself is the Word in the beginning and in the end.

Revelation 19:13 (NKJV)  He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

Interestingly, Jesus Himself had to discover what was written about Him (the path), and walk it out (The Way)!

Hebrews 10:5-7 (NKJV)  Therefore, when He came into the world, He said: “SACRIFICE AND OFFERING YOU DID NOT DESIRE, BUT A BODY YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME.  6  IN BURNT OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES FOR SIN YOU HAD NO PLEASURE.  7  THEN I SAID, ‘BEHOLD, I HAVE COME—IN THE VOLUME OF THE BOOK IT IS WRITTEN OF ME—TO DO YOUR WILL, O GOD.’ ”

So Jesus Himself more than qualifies to be the author of salvation, because in ‘Truth’ He is the Author of all things as the Word of the Father, through the power of the Holy Spirit!

Now lets return to our text in Psalm 138

Psalms 138:8 (NKJV)  The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

The plans of the Lord that have been authored are the path or the Way He has perfected for you. The very next Psalm goes into great detail to explain this;

Psalms 139:15-16 (NKJV)  My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.  16  Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

God has written, authored in His book the “days fashioned for me…” for you!

You have a book in heaven, where your days are written, this book is authored by Jesus, to be walked out by you. The Word about you needs to become flesh! That is the path, or the ‘way’ (Hebrew – ‘derek’) planned for you, verse 24 gives us understanding;

Psalms 139:23-24 (NKJV)  Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;  24  And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

Way = Hebrew ‘derek’ – This is the way, the path, that God has written for you. It is a “way everlasting”, an eternal plan, a perfect plan. Jesus said that He is that way;

John 14:6 (NKJV)  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Now here is the important part that you play. The path has been made. The Way created and perfected. Now you have to choose to walk on it!

Returning again to Jeremiah we see this truth explained.

Jeremiah 6:16(a) (NKJV)  Thus says the LORD: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls…’

Jeremiah 6:16(a) (AMPC)  Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads and look; and ask for the eternal paths, where the good, old way is; then walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls…

The Hebrew word here for ‘”ways” is ‘halak’ which is the way or the walk.

In Judaism, the ‘halak’ is the life that you walk out. It is the choice to step onto and stay on the pre-ordained path. Jesus explained that to us in Matthew 11 echoing Jeremiah 6;

Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)  Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  29  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  30  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Another verse that Jesus spoke concerning this is found in Matthew 22;

Matthew 22:14 (NKJV)  “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Many have found this verse hard to understand, however that has mostly been because they have tried to understand it from a Greco/Roman mindset. But think of it from a Hebraic minset. If I invited a whole group of people to meet me at 1pm for a game of basketball and only 6 of them showed up, how many of them could be chosen for the teams? Only those who showed up! But how many were called? Many!

Every person has been called, every person has a divine destiny planed and written. And every person has the choice to walk on that path.

Ephesians 2:10 (AMPC)  For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

The Father, and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, are committed to perfect that which concerns you. Will you now walk out that plan?

So to everyone reading this MinistrEmail today, I charge you to consider your way, your life. Is it walking in His truth or is it walking in a lie (anything other than His plan)?

There is an eternal mission before you, His provision is on that path, and so I urge you to prayerfully consider the year ahead with this in mind. Don’t waste a second on some other path. By faith lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has laid hold of you!

Now, by faith, speak these words out loud over this year;

I BELIEVE I RECEIVE THAT THIS COMING YEAR WILL BE “THE YEAR OF FABULOUS OUTPOURINGS FROM HEAVEN”!

I BELIEVE THAT THE LORD WILL PERFECT THAT WHICH CONCERNS ME, THAT IS MY PATH, AND I, BY THE SPIRIT OF GRACE, WALK OUT THAT PATH.

NO DEVIL CAN HOLD BACK THE LORD’S PLAN FOR MY LIFE AND I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS AS THE LEGAL CASE FOR MY RIGHTEOUSNESS AND BEING CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF JESUS AS THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.

I DECLARE THAT THIS YEAR WILL BE GRANDER AND GREATER – AND THAT AN OUTPOURING SUCH AS HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE WILL OUTWORK THROUGH MY LIFE AND MINISTRY.

I DECLARE THIS IN JESUS NAME!!!

MinistrEmail December 2016 – The Redemption of Man’s Authority

The Redemption of Man’s Authority

Firstly, I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas season! I do enjoy this time of year as we celebrate the Birth of the Lord Jesus. No one really knows exactly what day he was born on, however our celebration is that HE WAS BORN! Now thats worth celebrating every day of the year.

For a few months now we have been studying the genesis of man’s authority. How and why man was made in God’s image and the delegation of authority that was placed in God’s first son on earth.

In todays MinistrEmail, we are going to study the ‘Redemption of Man’s Authority’. How and why this has been restored for you, and I, to once again minister from an exalted place over every principality and power.

Now, just quickly, let’s remind ourselves of the original intent;

Genesis 1:28 (KJV)  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

We were commissioned to “replenish the earth, and subdue it:”. If you remember our study, the Hebrew words literally tell us to “work and compel the ground and to protect it”. This was a restorative commission from the state of the earth in every place but the Garden of Eden, which was God’s example to man.

Adam was then taught how to use words of creative authority in the naming of the animals, and have an opportunity to exercise authority over “every creeping thing”. Man was now authorized and in perfect relationship with the Father, and had been actively learning how to use his creative words.

The Fall of man

Through some simple and deceptive questions satan realized that Eve did not know what God had instructed Adam with concerning the tree’s in the garden. He then conceived a deceptive plan that manipuated Eve’s lack of knowledge of the Word accurately. Adam’s decision to stand by and not use his authority over every creeping thing (satan was working through a serpent), and then himself participating in rebellion, plunged what was ‘mankind’ in God’s own image and likeness into a fallen state of mankind without the gory of God.

The Curse

The next moments for Adam and Eve, were terrifying. They hid themselves in absolute fear, now with no crowning glory upon them. When the Father calls “where are you?” it is a heart wrenching insight into their fallen state. It is interesting to note that God asks the man and the woman what they have done, but the devil is never given the right of reply!

The Father then poses a powerful question, which we would do well to ask ourselves often, “who told you that you were naked?” If we would consider the “who told you” question more often we would sort out a lot of doctrine!

The Father now reveals what it looks like without the blessing and without the glory. The curse was verbalized by God and later placed into law, not to activate it or create it but to define it and describe it, so that it could be dealt with legally. God did not create the curse, He explained it. It is the absence of The Blessing, not a creative force in itself.

1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)  But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Much like light is the substance and darkness is the absence of light! The curse is the verbal and written description of the absence of The Blessing. The law then is put in place to put the parameters around and define all sin. If sin is not defined by what’s right, then we can’t know what’s wrong.

Romans 7:7-13 (NKJV)  What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “YOU SHALL NOT COVET.”  8  But sin, taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire. For apart from the law sin was dead.  9  I was alive once without the law, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died.  10  And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death.  11  For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me.  12  Therefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy and just and good.  13  Has then what is good become death to me? Certainly not! But sin, that it might appear sin, was producing death in me through what is good, so that sin through the commandment might become exceedingly sinful.

The Word had to be manifest as Torah, as not only law, but instructions and teachings, as a creative force by which to live. By covenant. By promise! One of the central and yet hidden elements of these promises, was the Word made flesh.

The Alef Tav Himself (Alpha and Omega in the Greek), did the unthinkable, He emptied Himself of His Divinity and became a man. Jesus as a man! Invested into the lineage of Adam the first son of God to be the Last Adam. Why could Jesus not come in His Divinity? Why did he have to come limited to mankind?

Firstly lets ask ourselves three questions;

  1. Can God be tempted by sin?
  2. Does God need to be baptisied in the Holy Spirit to work miracles?
  3. Can God die?

To answer these questions let’s simply look at scripture.

James 1:13 (NKJV)  Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.

Here James makes it very clear that God cannot be tempted by evil. This poses a problem because our next verse emphatically explains that Jesus was tempted.

Hebrews 4:15 (NKJV)  For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Here we see that Jesus was tempted and so He could not have been facing these temptations in His Divinity.

Next we see the Holy Spirit come upon Jesus;

Luke 3:22 (NKJV)  And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.”

Why did this happen? Because in His humanity, Jesus did not have power to work miracles any more than any other man. As we just saw above He was “tempted as we are”. That means He had to be just like us! Jesus Himself explains how He was going to work miracles;

Luke 4:18 (NKJV)  “THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE HAS ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR; HE HAS SENT ME TO HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED, TO PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET AT LIBERTY THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED;

Jesus the sinless Lamb of God, Who has emptied Himself of His divine privileges, now functioning only as a Man, walks for 33 years fulfilling His path that was written and prophesied. Every step was taken as a man. This was the legal requirement necessary to become the sacrifice for mankind.

Our next verse reveals that not only did Jesus submit Himself to death, but that He did indeed empty Himself of His Divine privilages.

Philippians 2:5-8 (NKJV)  Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,  6  who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,  7  but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.  8  And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the poi’nt of death, even the death of the cross.

The Strong’s concordance renders the word “no reputation” as “to make empty, to abase, neutralize, of none effect….” In other words every miracle that Jesus did and every Word of authority He spoke was powerful not because He was, and all ways will be God inherently, because none of that was in operation, He had emptied Himself of that. Those miracles and acts of authority happened because He was a Man with God ON HIM.

Acts 10:37-38 (NKJV)  that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached:  38  how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.   Why would God need Anointing with the Holy Spirit and Power? He is The Holy Spirit and Power!

Jesus submitted Himself to the Likeness of man and for the purpose of death to pay for our sins. Jesus couldn’t just carry your sin, He had to legally become your sin.

2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)  For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus had to become our sin, all of it. That’s what killed Him, not the nails or the stripes, but the embodiment of sin and the resulting absence of the Father. What took place next is shocking to say the least! Jesus went beyond physical death and entered spiritual death. The question has been asked; “Did Jesus really go to hell?”

Well, did He pay the price for your sins? What is the physical price of mans sin? “The wages of sin is death” (Rom 6:23) What is the spiritual price of mans sin?

Hebrews 9:27-28 (NKJV)  And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment,  28  so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation.

Not just the physical death but also the judgment! Aren’t you glad! I am, not that Jesus had to do this, but that He did do this for me! Legally now, Jesus went to hell as sin but Hell did not understand one very important legal detail, Jesus had not Himself sinned, so Hell did not have the right to hold Him.

Now unfortunately, many images of some great struggle in hell between Jesus and Satan, have immerged. Even a boxing match in one Singers rendering. The truth however is that Jesus did not raise Himself from the dead. In fact the scripture says He became obedient to death. (Philippians 2:8) No, the scriptures say that God the Father raised Jesus from the dead, and once again, He had the legal right to do this because Jesus had paid the price for sin but had not done the act of sin.

Romans 6:4 (NKJV)  Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 8:11 (NKJV)  But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

The Father, by the Power and glory of Himself and His Spirit raised Jesus from the dead! And what happened when He was raised from the dead? Oh Hallelujah, this is where we have been trying to get to. This is the whole point!

Ephesians 1:17-23 (NKJV)  that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,  18  the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,  19  and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power  20  which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,  21  far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.  22  And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,  23  which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

Ephesians 2:1-7 (NKJV)  And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,  2  in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience,  3  among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.  4  But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,  5  even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),  6  and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,  7  that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Now! By the same resurrection power, at the point of salvation, legally, you and I have been raised up to sit with Jesus in heavenly places far above all principality and power!

Ephesians 1:13-14 (NKJV)  In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,  14  who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Oh Glory Hallelujah, I can hardly stay in my chair thinking about all this!!! You and I are raised up together with Christ. We are now seated with Him. It doesn’t get any higher than that. We NOW have not only the privilege of authority but also the responsibility of using it.

Now, from that place, for the last time this year, declare this confession with me;

I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE GREAT YEAR FOR WHAT EVER I NEED IT TO BE. I BELIEVE GOD AND HIS WORD, AND I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A GREAT BREAKING LOOSE OF EVERYTHING I NEED TO FULFILL MY DESTINY IN GOD. MinistrEmail November 2016 – Your Heavenly Ministry and Authority on Earth

Your Heavenly Place of Ministry
& Authority On Earth

Last month we studied the lead up to man being created in God’s likeness and image. We saw the fall of satan and we began to understand the original commissioning words that contained the creative force of faith that made man who he was to be.

Now, let’s pick up again from the restorative, light infused words in Genesis 1:3;

Genesis 1:3 (NKJV)  Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

In an explosion of power, of God’s own person, Light surged through everything, and His word separated the light from the darkness. In physics it is understood that while light is a substance, darkness in the lack of light. I get a thrill every time I envision that moment!

The making of man was also through the very Words of God. The Words of creative authority. We could say that the creating was in the saying and verses 26-31 of Genesis chapter 1, are no exception. Man was sown, conceived, and birthed by God in the Spirit with Words, and placed into a physical body made of earth so that man could have a legal vessel of his own to walk in.

So once again lets look at the authority words that formed man;

Genesis 1:26-31 (NKJV)  Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”  27  So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  28  Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”  29  And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.  30  Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so.  31  Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Now we need to zoom in on an important detail. Read with me again Genesis 1:28 in the King James Version;

Verse 28 in the King James reveals the word and command to “…replenish the earth…”

Genesis 1:28 (KJV)  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Adam is now, made, authorized and functions as the first “son of God”. Does that statement sound far fetched? Well read it for yourself in the Gospel of Luke.

Luke 3:23 (NKJV)  Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, the son of Heli,

For space sake here we will skip forward to verse 37;

Luke 3:37-38 (NKJV)  the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan,  38  the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

Literally “Adam of God” WOW! Now let’s look at how God wanted Adam of God to walk out this authority.

Genesis 2:15-20 (NKJV)  Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.  16  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;  17  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”  18  And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”  19  Out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.  20  So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.

“…to tend and keep it.” –Strongs renders this – to “work” lit. to compel. “to keep” lit. to hedge about (as with thorns), that is, guard; generally to protect, attend to, etc

Basically Adam was supposed to compel the ground to produce and he was authorized to protect it. Verses 19-20 show us Adam being commissioned to use the authority of words in the image of God, to name or declare what the animals would be called. God “brought” the animals to Adam, but the Hebrew indicates that they were carried, like in a trance.

The animals were living, breathing beings but not yet finished without Adams word. God carried them to Adam so that he could exercise his creative words also and learn to walk out this ability to function like God. “…And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.”

The Hebrew word for “called” is literally “called forth, preach”!

This delegation of God’s own image into his son Adam was the original outworking of man’s authority on the earth. Why didn’t God do it? Why didn’t He name the animals personally? Well that’s simple, He had finished everything He was going to do.

Genesis 2:1-3 (NKJV)  Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.  2  And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.  3  Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

The Father had finished and had rested. Now that He had made man and authorized him to sovereignly rule the earth, God’s work was finished. Everything else that would happened had already been authorized by God in His Word over Man. Remember, the creating is in the saying!

Now, we’re going to go to the Words of Jesus as He teaches us the application of this for us today.

Mark 4:11-14 (NKJV)  And He said to them, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables,  12  so that ‘SEEING THEY MAY SEE AND NOT PERCEIVE, AND HEARING THEY MAY HEAR AND NOT UNDERSTAND; LEST THEY SHOULD TURN, AND THEIR SINS BE FORGIVEN THEM.’ ”  13  And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?  14  The sower sows the word.

Luke 8:11 (NKJV)  “Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Words are seeds!

Galatians 6:7-8 (NKJV)  Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.  8  For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.

The functionality of man in God’s image has not changed. It is still words, whether they come by a born again believer or someone still in spiritual death. Words are seeds. The very process of being born again shows this in action.

Romans 10:9-10 (NKJV)  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  10  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

And again the Words of Jesus;

Mark 11:23 (NKJV)  For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

I’m telling you, this is powerful stuff! Mankind (Godkind) was made with creative words to operate by creative words.

Both in Genesis 1:1 and in Genesis 1:28 is the mystery and the key of the creative Word of God in all of creation and invested into man. This mystery manifest in the flesh as Jesus. Oh I was wanting to get there in this MinistrEmail, but it will have to wait until next month, which will fit nicely, Immanuel.

As you sow your seed into this ministry, do so with the seed words below.

I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE GREAT YEAR FOR WHAT EVER I NEED IT TO BE. I BELIEVE GOD AND HIS WORD, AND I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A GREAT BREAKING LOOSE OF EVERYTHING I NEED TO FULFILL MY DESTINY IN GOD. I BELIEVE THAT GOD WILL CAUSE THINGS I HAVE BELIEVED FOR TO SUDDENLY MANIFEST AS I FAITHFULLY STAND IN FAITH. IM GOING BACK TO THE COVENANTS OF GOD. MinistrEmail October 2016 – Our Place of Authority In Him

Our Place Of Authority In Him

Last month we began looking at our place in the heavenlies as a place of authority. In that context we began by learning how to ‘let the peace of God rule’. Let’s remind ourselves of verses 1-3 and verses 15-16 of Colossians chapter 3;

Colossians 3:1-17 (NKJV)  If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.  2  Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.  3  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.  16  Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

As an example we looked at 2 Kings 6 and how the perspective of Elisha’s servant was changed when he had heavenly vision. Once again let’s revisit that;

2 Kings 6:15-17 (NKJV)  And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?”  16  So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”  17  And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

What is truly happening has to be discerned as different to what’s going on in the natural. You may be surrounded by chaos but be securely fixed in His peace.

In our previous look at these verses we learnt about the peace of God. That is more than simply a sense of tranquility, there is a peace that comes from revelation of the believers authority. There is a confidence that comes from understanding our true heavenly citizenship and the rights and privileges that accompany that. Living, abiding, dwelling in that place is done by staying in the peace of God and being not moved by crisis and the “demands” of circumstance.

There are a number of things the believer must have revelation of not simply as head knowledge but a deep constant consciousness of as we see not only with our eyes but also with heavenly eyes.

Now, our revelation and our authority all begin at the cross, however what we need to understand here, begins a long time before that. Understanding why the cross was necessary is paramount to our walking in authority from the results of the cross. Let’s begin at the beggining.

Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Now, when did satan fall? Ezekiel reveals that God says “I cast you to the ground” Ground, or earth, then, was in existence, and therefore satan’s fall must have been after Genesis 1:1

Ezekiel 28:12-15 (NKJV)  “Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.  13  You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created.  14  “You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.  15  You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.

What was the iniquity?

Isaiah 14:12-14 (NKJV)  “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!  13  For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;  14  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’

The five “I wills” of satan’s fall. They also reveal some things to us; We know from Ezekiel, that he was “the anointed cherub”. He was endued with authority and power. Now, Isaiah reveals that he had a throne, and therefore a dominion or kingdom. Many Bible scholars believe this was the earth.

Jesus reveals some things to us in Luke 10:18;

Luke 10:17-19 (NKJV)  Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.”  18  And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.  19  Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Now this was not happening as the disciples where ministering. Jesus was making the point, that He had seen satan fall long ago, and not to think that what they did was because of their own effort (pride), but that He had given them authority.

This description is of the moment Lucifer tried to exercise his five “I wills” and began his assault and attempted to ascend, however the opposite in fact happened. What anointing and spiritual authority he once had was now stripped, and he was cast down to the earth, still as a spirit yet now with no spiritual authority. He was incarcerated in the natural.

At this point God withdrew from the natural realm. This withdrawl of light, withdrew the spiritual structure and substance of light and God’s faith and so the earth became “without form and void”. Most Bibles say “the earth was..” but the Hebrew is ‘hâyâh’ meaning “became”! God indeed did not create the world void!

Verse two hear, reveals two Hebrew words “toho v’boho” – to lie waste, chaos, disorder. However the scripture tells us that the Lord did not create the world in this state.

Isaiah 45:18 (NKJV)  For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it, Who did not create it in vain (tohu), Who formed it to be inhabited: “I am the LORD, and there is no other.

No, it was create perfect! We have another scripture that reveals the same words ‘tohu v’hohu

Jeremiah 4:23-27 (NKJV)  I beheld the earth, and indeed it was without form, and void; (tohu v’ bohu) And the heavens, they had no light.  24  I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, And all the hills moved back and forth.  25  I beheld, and indeed there was no man, And all the birds of the heavens had fled.  26  I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, And all its cities were broken down At the presence of the LORD, By His fierce anger.  27  For thus says the LORD: “The whole land shall be desolate; Yet I will not make a full end.

There is no other time in history that this level of catastrophic effect took place. John G. Lake said “The presence of God is as destructive of evil as it is creative of good.” God’s fierce righteous anger removed Himself, His light, which withdrew the spiritual structure and substance of His light and so the earth became “without form and void”.

Satan, now stripped of all that he was, existed quivering as a spirit once anointed with light, now in utter darkness. Thank God, He didn’t leave it there. How could He, He is so good that He will always triumph and He would not let this piece of eternity sit in darkness.

Jeremiah 4:27  For thus says the LORD: “The whole land shall be desolate; Yet I will not make a full end.

And then the WORDS!

Genesis 1:3 (NKJV)  Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

In an explosion of power, of God’s own person, Light surged through everything, and His word separated the light from the darkness. Light is a substance, darkness is the lack of light (the lack of light’s substance).

The Lord then makes His man in His own image and DNA as His son, and commands him to use Words to “replenish” the earth.

Genesis 1:28 (KJV)  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Genesis 3 now reveals to us the limitation of satan.

Genesis 3:1a (NKJV)  Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made…

Revelation reveals that this is indeed satan

Revelation 12:9 (NKJV)  So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Revelation 20:2 (NKJV)  He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;

Now satan is limited by the natural, and a man in God’s image has been given authority!

Halleluiah! Now, I know that man fell into sin and that opened up a whole mess. We will deal with this next month, and the significance of Jesus coming in the flesh, as a Man, to once again have a Man take the seat of authority. In this months MinstrEmail, I believe the Lord wanted you to simply be refreshed in His original intent. To see once again that man was made and appointed for authority. To be creative and have “authority over every creeping thing”.

I can tell you this, God will have His man, His children, walk in this once more, because Jesus, as the Son of man conquered the grave and took it back!

Now confess this with me. If you have a seed to sow into this ministry, speak this as you sow it.

IM GOING BACK TO THE WORSHIP AND PRAISE OF GOD AND THE POWER TO HEAL.

MinistrEmail September 2016 – Letting God’s Peace Rule

Letting God’s Peace Rule

Recently I ministered to some pastors, ministers, and leaders, and what came forth from the Lord, was a strong message to understand and teach the place of authority that we have as individuals in Christ and corporately as the Body of Christ.

Functioning in our place of Heavenly Authority on this earth is paramount to fulfilling the call of God on your life. What you do here on earth as a believer begins in the heavenlies. That is where you draw the substance from. Within this context there is a place, a heavenly place where we make the decisions that affect our earthly lives. What must rule those decisions is a place of peace in God.

Look with me now at some verses from Colossians chapter 3;

Colossians 3:1-4, 15-17 (NKJV)  If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.  2  Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.  3  For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.  4  When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.

17  And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Over the last MinistrEmail’s we have been looking at our calling and destiny. I believe that as I have been teaching these truths, things have been aligning for you. The things of the Spirit have been pulling the things in the natural into Divine alignment. (Take some time to go back and read some of the previous MinistrEmail teaching letters again, and take note of what has aligned in your life!)

Now, the Lord will work things together for you, however it is your responsibility is to align yourself to His plan through the peace of God which always accompanies His plans. It must be your determined purpose to consecrate yourself to the commission.

So how do we do that? There is a place in the Spirit that is a place of peace and rest. It is the will of God. This place has to be discerned as different to what’s going on in the natural. You may be surrounded by chaos but be securely fixed in His peace.

The eyes of your understanding must be enlightened so that you are not distracted from heavens perspective.

You can see that Elisha had his eyes fixed on what Heaven could see, and when the servant’s eyes were opened it changed his entire perspective and I am sure countenance! This same perspective is shown to us in Psalm 91. Read through this purposefully.

Psalms 91:1-16 (NKJV)  He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  2  I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”  3  Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence.  4  He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.  5  You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day,  6  Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.  7  A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.  8  Only with your eyes shall you look, And see the reward of the wicked.  9  Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,  10  No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;  11  For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways.  12  In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.  13  You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.  14  “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.  15  He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.  16  With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

The “stuff” going on around you is designed to unsettle you, to intimidate you, to cause you to draw back and loose focus. To fulfill your calling and destiny in God you must understand your place in the heavenlies and draw your perspective from there.

Now, there is a peace that comes from revelation of the believers authority. There is a confidence that comes from understanding our true heavenly citizenship and the rights and privileges that accompany that. As we see in 2 Kings, when eyes were opened they saw an army, they saw heavenly authority. The key is to stay in this place of revelation.

Living, abiding, dwelling in that place is done by staying in the peace of God and not moved by crisis and the “demands” of circumstance. Again read with me these words from Colossians chapter 3;

Colossians 3:1-3, 15-17 (NKJV)  If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

17  And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Staying in a place of peace or letting, allowing the peace of God rule, is so important. The Greek word used in Colossians (Strong’s) for ‘peace’ in the word; eirēnē, Strongs explains this as; “Probably from a primary verb εἴρω eirō (to join); peace (literally or figuratively); by implication prosperity: – one, peace, quietness, rest, + set at one again.”

This is the Greek equivalent to the Hebrew word ‘Shalom’ which also means whole, at one again, prosperity etc. Shalom, is heaven touching earth. It is divine alignment. The shalom of God is the inner witness between your spirit and the Holy Spirit. It is the communing of God’s Word with your life as you “let the Word of Christ Dwell in you richly…”

So what does that look like on a daily basis?

Well firstly you have to make sure your spiritual ears are sensitive and not hardened to His leading. If you have systematically ignored or rebelled against the leading of the Lord, even in what you might consider little promptings, then you must first repent.

When we resist the leading of the Holy Spirit, bit by bit we sear our conscience. The conscience of the believer is the spiritual insight that you have. Your ability to see the from the heavenliness. Interestingly the Greek word for conscience is  suneidēsis which again Strongs explains as “…co-perception, that is, moral consciousness: – conscience…. to see completely; used (like its primary) only in two past tenses, respectively meaning to understand or become aware, and to be conscious or (clandestinely) informed of: – consider, know, be privy, be ware of.

From our heavenly revelation, we literally have a co-perception. Not only do we see what happens in the natural, but we also truly see what is happening in the heavenlies, we “see completely”.

So what happens when we resist the leading of the Lord and listen to another word?

1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NKJV)  Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons,  2  speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron,

This Greek word is  kautēriazō meaning -“…to render unsensitive,  sear with a hot iron.” It’s where we get the english word cauterized from. When we repent and appropriate what the Blood of Christ has done for us, we are cleansed of the searing effects of our disobedience.

Hebrews 9:14 (NKJV)  how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Dead works are the things you do that did not originate in the heavenlies!

Now, once you have re-sensitized and allowed the Blood of Christ place again, you can begin to enter that place of rest that belongs to you. The peace of God is available, but notice the scripture said;

Colossians 3:15  And let the peace of God rule in your hearts

You have to choose to allow His peace rule, arbitrate, govern etc. It is so important to learn how to listen to that peace, to practice letting His peace rule. Again, that is done by actively setting “your mind on things above”, and the primary way of doing that is by being a person of the Word of God first and foremost.

Take time today, to set everything aside and if you know of disobedience or even delayed obedience, simply repent. Let the Blood of Christ cleanse your conscience and re-sensitise you to hearing His voice. Then in a place of worship, wait on the Lord and practice His peace.

Now, remember what that is like and determine to not make decisions without that accompanying peace ruling in your heart.

Amen! Now once more take the below confession and release it over your life;

IM GOING BACK TO THE WORSHIP AND PRAISE OF GOD AND THE POWER TO HEAL.

I DECLARE THIS YEAR ‘THE GREAT YEAR’ CONCERNING……….
