Faith That Breaks Loose
For the last few months we have been digging back in to our revelation of faith, and in so doing we are moving forwards in our application of it. In a prophetic word for 2016 through Brother Copeland, the Lord said “It’s a great year of Faith – Great Year…” I for one will contend for this word and also for what Bro Jerry Savelle prophesied concerning the “year of the great breaking loose.” (Please visit the respective ministries web sites www.kcm.org & www.jsmi.org for more details) You will excuse me if this teaching looks and sounds very similar to teaching by Bro Copeland. I promise I haven’t simply copied this, but that is where I learnt it and it is in me this way, and so that is how it some out of me! We began to ask ourselves these questions; 1. Who has faith? 2. Who can use it? 3. What is faith? 4. How is it developed and released? The last two MinistrEmail’s have studied the first two and so now lets dive in to ‘What is Faith’? Again, we will begin with 1 John 5:1-5; 1 John 5:1-5 Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? And so we discovered, that the Born again believer has faith. That any person has the right to use faith when they hear the Word of God. (Romans 10:17) Also, that whosoever will use it has a right to use it. (Mark 11:23) Every person was dealt the measure of faith when they got born again. (Romans 12:3) However, the Word won’t profit you if you don’t mix it with faith (Hebrews 4:1-2) So, What Is Faith? Hebrews 11:1-3 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. So, “by faith” we understand the world was perfectly fit together by the (rhema) spoken word of God. And that the things which we can see were not made out of things that are visible! Now it didn’t say the world was made out of nothing, but made out of that which is not visible. Faith is a substance, a substance of force not dependent on the natural, physical world. For instance you might say electricity is a force. Things which are powered in your home are run by a source that’s not seen, and activated by power not seen. Someone might ask, “why is it that my faith doesn’t work that way”? Actually it can, the difference is in the wisdom and understanding of God used. Proverbs 3:19 The Lord by wisdom founded the earth; By understanding He established the heavens; The use of that substance of force is based on the wisdom and understanding of God. As this is developed, so is your faith and ability to use it. For example, what stopped the disciples from flying an airplane to fulfill the great commission? Quite simply, the only reason is that they were not invented then was because mankind at that time lacked the wisdom and understanding to know how to. Had flight been invented? Had metal and oil been put in the earth? Did aerodynamics exist? So what stopped man flying an airplane? It took wisdom and understanding and a decision that it could be done for man to use the force of flight. Electricity is the same way. It needed to be harnessed and used by wisdom and understanding. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God and the wisdom and understanding comes through hearing it with your spirit and having revelation come. That takes instruction and revelation from the Holy Spirit. The Bible is spiritually discerned through the Holy Spirit and revelation unfolds to you as you receive the Word of God as the Word of God! One very important point to note is this, the wisdom of God is not hidden from you, it is hidden, but not from you, for you. 1 Corinthians 2:6-16 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,Nor have entered into the heart of manThe things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. When the Word of God comes, you must first believe it, then receive revelation by the Holy Spirit to impart it into you, to ‘know’ it. The Greek word to ‘know’ is ‘ginosko’ – meaning to fully know, the God kind of knowing.. Vines NT renders it; “such “knowledge” is obtained, not by mere intellectual activity, but by operation of the Holy Spirit consequent upon acceptance of Christ. ……….RV. The verb is also used to convey the thought of connection or union, as between man and woman, Matthew 1:25; Luke 1:34. Every Word of God was spoken by God. 2 Timothy 3:16 (AMPC) Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof and conviction of sin, for correction of error and discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God’s will in thought, purpose, and action), God released His faith into the World through Words. These Words contained His faith. You received His faith and develop your faith by hearing these words with your ears and your spirit. Faith is a Force! A substance! An evidence! I’ve heard brother Copeland say many times, “Christians don’t have a faith problem, they have a Word problem.” Faith comes from a living thing, not just words on a page. Don’t just leave them on the page, they are living when they are spoken. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Again it is helpful here to look at the Greek word for “two-edged” it is the word ‘dis-tomos’ meaning ‘dis’ – twice and ‘tomos’ – the mouth, litteraly ‘two mouthed’. This means that God speaks it and then you speak it! The Word of God is living and active for sure but it is not alive for you when it is left on a shelf. It is alive when that force is released by believing, speaking, and living. It is alive for you when it is mixed with faith! Hebrews 4:1-2 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. The Word is life from God because it has His breath in it. It is alive for you when it has your breath in it! Romans 10:8-10 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Faith will not work in an unforgiving heart! Mark 11:23-26 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. If you don’t extend forgiveness, faith won’t work because faith has to work by love. Unforgiveness is holding a debt. Love is releasing a debt. Why? Faith operates a force that is carried and conducted by words that come out of your heart empowered by Love, which is God, which never fails. If faith words are contaminated by unforgiveness it won’t work when those words are spoken. Ephesians 6:23 Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The faith of God and the Love of God both came from God to you. Galatians 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
James 2:8 (NKJV) If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF,” you do well; Faith is the life force of God that proceeds out of His mouth. The connection between Heaven and Earth is the Word of God by the Holy Spirit. God released His Faith, the force of His Faith, to energise this planet with His Light by His Word. Colossians 1:17 (AMPC) And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (cohere, are held together). [Pro 8:22-31] John 1:1-3 (NKJV) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 He was in the beginning with God.3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. Genesis 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. The spectrum of reality goes beyond what you and I can see with the natural eye! Electricity, Radar, Microwave, radio etc. all of these things seem natural now but before they were understood they would have been seen as impossible. God’s faith is a force that is applied by a believing heart and words spoken, and is received by hearing the Word of God into a life free from unforgiveness. Faith, Angels, the Spirit world all exist. In truth, faith is more real than a circumstance. If the world was created by the Word of God (and it was), what came first The Word or the creation? What then is subordinate? 2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. Jesus is the Word of God, He lives in you now as a born again believer. The Word is a seed, faith is what is contained in that Word. You cannot look at an acorn and see an oak tree, but everything that an oak tree needs is contained within that acorn except the right environment to grow. It has to be planted! John 12:24-25 (NKJV) Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. 25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Mark 4:14,20 14 The sower soweth the word. 20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred. Faith is a law Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. You must know the Law Giver, some people try to use the laws without God and eventually fall over. So what are the Bible laws of faith?
Praise God! I get so stired up studying this subject because it is the very foundation of how God operates and how He created us to operate. Now once again take the confession below and speak it out boldly and declare over your year ahead GREAT THINGS! I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE GREAT YEAR FOR WHAT EVER I NEED IT TO BE. I BELIEVE GOD AND HIS WORD, AND I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A GREAT BREAKING LOOSE OF EVERYTHING I NEED TO FULFILL MY DESTINY IN GOD. I BELIEVE THAT GOD WILL CAUSE THINGS I HAVE BELIEVED FOR TO SUDDENLY MANIFEST AS I FAITHFULLY STAND IN FAITH. IM GOING BACK TO THE COVENANTS OF GOD. IM GOING BACK TO THE WORSHIP AND PRAISE OF GOD AND THE POWER TO HEAL. I DECLARE THIS YEAR ‘THE GREAT YEAR’ CONCERNING………… Blessings and Love ![]() Are you a partner with Christ Ministries International?
