MinistrEmail February 2016 – Faith That Breaks Loose

Faith That Breaks Loose
Last month We looked at the prophetic words that came through both Kenneth Copeland and Jerry Savelle for 2016. For the sake of space in this MinistrEmail, can I encourage you to revisit those words again. In the prophetic word through Brother Copeland, the Lord said “It’s a great year of Faith – Great Year…” Faith is a dynamic in God that, to many, may seem like the basics but we are going to revisit and charge our faith on what the Word of God teaches us about Faith itself.

Well, if we are to appropriate any Word from God in our lives then we need to make sure we function in this Great Year by faith, in faith and through faith. And so for some reading this we are going to revisit the basics. For others, this may be the first time you have studied Bible faith. We will take the next few months to look at what faith is, where we get faith, how it’s developed, and how we use and release it.

Before we begin to dive into those things I want to exhort you as to why.

There are things in your life that need breaking loose, finances, healings; things that have been held back that need to come to pass. These things will break loose as we respond to the prophetic prompting of God and apply our faith in the Word of God.

So let’s begin with WHO Has Faith?

1 John 5:1-5 (NKJV) Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who is begotten of Him.2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Whoever! Believes that Jesus is the Christ is Born of God. This is the same John who recorded Jesus Words in John 3:16;

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John had a revelation that whoever believed on Jesus and got born again, at that point became an overcomer, and the victory in that overcoming was found in the faith of the believer that was given to them through hearing the Word of God. In other words, if you are born again, if you have made Jesus the Lord of your life then you are an overcomer. You may not have been overcoming, and you may not feel like an overcomer BUT you are! You just don’t know it yet.

So again lets ask the question – Who Has Faith?

According to 1 John 5 whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ! The Born again believer has faith. A person gets born again by faith.

Romans 10:6-17 But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down from above)7 or, “ ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

1 “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,

Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Now, righteousness is something that happens to a person when they get born again from death to life, from living without God to living with Him. Here in Romans chapter 10, we are told that within faith, is contained righteousness, and it has a voice, the voice of righteousness proclaims the process of the force of faith working in a person to salvation.

The Born again believer has faith

It doesn’t matter if you don’t feel like it. Feelings have nothing to do with faith. It’s yours, it came inside you when you got born again and God expects you to use it.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Salvation, grace and faith are all gifts from God. No one could save themselves, it has nothing to do with how good a person is or what they have done. Now, being a good person has its benefits and can position you to be able to receive God’s grace perhaps quicker than someone fighting God, often the salvation process is smoother! For instance Saul in Acts 9, and Cornelius the Roman centurion in Acts 10. Both men received salvation however it was not because one was good and one was bad, it was because of the grace and love of God was towards them both.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a (KJV-the) measure of faith.

Paul is writing to the believers here “to everyone who is among you” “to each one a (the) measure of faith”

One person did not get more faith than another. Don’t look down on someone thinking that you were given more faith than them. No you may have developed it more than them but with that attitude it will not work for you because Galatians 5:6 we are told that “faith worketh by love”

So does everyone in the world have faith?

2 Thessalonians 3:1-3 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you,2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith.3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

Righteousness is of the faith of Jesus Christ, faith comes by hearing the Word of God and one is made righteousness by believing that word with the faith that came by that word to get saved on!

There is a natural human faith, you used it when you sat on that chair. But that is not the same as God’s faith. Natural human faith is the belief in something that is fact, visible, or something that has happened. The faith of God is the belief and application by way of God’s Words of the force of truth. This faith over-rides fact. This faith contains Gods power.

So who can use the Faith of God?

Mark 11:22-24 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.23 “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.24 “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Understand that the faith that you received at salvation was not just your natural faith being boosted. You actually received God’s faith. That is where many have fallen over. They get born again and still try to operate in their natural human belief structure rather than apply the force of God’s faith that now belongs to them.

Now don’t confuse this with faith as a manifestation of the Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12.

The faith that God gave you at salvation was His kind of faith given to you to use develop. He is not going to use that faith for you, you have to use it. There are times however when God will use His faith through you, joined to your faith to accomplish something for the body. That is a manifestation of God’s faith still attached to Him through you. That is you operating at the same level of wisdom and understanding as God in a given situation under the anointing of God for others.

So now you can use your faith by the Word of God. If you don’t the Word will not be useful for you.

Hebrews 4:1-2 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.2 For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

You have to use the faith that you have! To do that you have to believe that you have the faith of God.

This is the Great Year, the year when you use your faith to break loose every dynamic in God for your life.

I’m telling you that it’s time! It’s time to raise a GREAT faith shout!

Last month I included a faith confession and I want to include it again this month, so take the faith that has stirred up while reading this ministrEmail and declare this with me;

I BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE GREAT YEAR FOR WHAT EVER I NEED IT TO BE. I BELIEVE GOD AND HIS WORD, AND I BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A GREAT BREAKING LOOSE OF EVERYTHING I NEED TO FULFILL MY DESTINY IN GOD. I BELIEVE THAT GOD WILL CAUSE THINGS I HAVE BELIEVED FOR TO SUDDENLY MANIFEST AS I FAITHFULLY STAND IN FAITH. IM GOING BACK TO THE COVENANTS OF GOD. IM GOING BACK TO THE WORSHIP AND PRAISE OF GOD AND THE POWER TO HEAL.

I DECLARE THIS YEAR ‘THE GREAT YEAR’ CONCERNING……….

Blessings and Love
